Cleanroom technology is essential to the successful fabrication of all integrated circuits and semiconductor components. Although most engineers think about wafer fab processing equipment, they don’t always think about the infrastructure needed to support the chip fabrication. The cleanroom is the fundamental piece of infrastructure technology required for chip fabrication. We will cover this topic in more detail in this short course.
